Matt Travis

Matt Travis is an American racing driver with a diverse background both on and off the track. Born in Houston, Texas, Travis combines his passion for motorsports with a career in tax consulting. He developed an interest in racing through Formula SAE in college, though he didn't begin his racing career until his 30s, after being coached by Jason Hart.

Travis has achieved significant success in the Pirelli GT4 America SprintX series, showcasing his talent in the No. 47 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport with the NOLASPORT team. In 2019, he and teammate Jason Hart dominated the first half of the season, winning the first five races. They ultimately finished just shy of the championship title. The following year, in 2020, Travis and Hart responded by winning both races at the Circuit of The Americas.

Beyond his racing achievements, Matt Travis has a variety of interests. He enjoys racing, of course, and lists his favorite track as Texas World Speedway. He drives an Audi RS7 daily and dreams of owning a McLaren F1. He also enjoys vacationing in Cabo, and his favorite movie is Talladega Nights. He has 28 wins, 54 podiums and 15 pole positions out of 105 races started.
