Maria Flewitt, a Swedish racing driver born on May 15, 1969, has made a name for herself in the world of GT racing. Currently competing in the British GT Championship, Flewitt didn't start her motorsport journey through the traditional karting route. Instead, her passion for cars ignited when a Volvo plant opened in her hometown in Sweden, leading her to work as a forklift driver and later as a manufacturing engineer in the UK.
