Khaled Qubaisi

Khaled Abdulla Al Qubaisi, born on December 22, 1975, is an Emirati businessman and accomplished racing driver. Al Qubaisi has been active in international grand touring races since the early 2010s, achieving significant milestones in his motorsport career. He secured overall victories in the Dubai 24 Hours in 2012 and 2013, driving a Black Falcon-Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3, sharing the wins with teammates like Sean Edwards, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Thomas Jäger, and Bernd Schneider. In 2013, he also won the Yas Marina 12-Hour Race. He has participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times, with his best finish being 19th overall in 2014.

Beyond racing, Al Qubaisi has held prominent positions in the business world. He served as the chief executive officer of Mubadala's Real Estate & Infrastructure Investments platform from 2021 to 2024 and also oversaw the Aerospace, Renewables, and ICT portfolios. His career also includes roles such as Chief Investment Officer at International Capital and Head of Corporate Finance & Business Development at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Al Qubaisi is the Chairman of the National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) and holds board positions in various other companies, including Abu Dhabi Motor Sports Management and Finance House, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), and Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC).

Khaled Al Qubaisi's passion for racing extends to his family, with his daughters Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi also pursuing careers in motorsport. He is celebrated as the first Emirati driver to win the Dubai 24 Hours and to compete in the World Endurance Championship for a full season. His accomplishments have earned him recognition, including the "Medals of Loyalty" award.
