Joshua Mason, born on March 19, 2002, is a British racing driver with a diverse heritage, including Nigerian, Grenadian, and Trinidadian/Tobagonian roots. Mason's journey in motorsports began relatively late at age 14 with karting, quickly progressing from club races to national competitions. He transitioned to car racing in 2018, entering the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Lanan Racing, securing a win at Silverstone in his debut season.
In 2021, Mason moved to the Euroformula Open Championship, driving for Double R Racing, where he achieved a best finish of fourth at the Hungaroring and ended the season ninth overall. The following year, he joined CryptoTower Racing in the same series, finishing fifth in the championship. Mid-season 2023, Mason made his debut in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with PHM Racing. He also competed in Indy NXT with Abel Motorsports for the opening rounds of the 2024 season.
Prior to his racing career, Mason was actively involved in football and rugby, but chest surgery at age 10 led him to explore sim racing, ultimately sparking his passion for motorsports.
