Josh Caygill, born on June 22, 1989, is a British racing driver hailing from Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with United Autosports, in partnership with McLaren Automotive, Caygill brings a diverse motorsport background to the endurance racing scene. His journey began on two wheels, participating in motocross and various British biking series, including two seasons in the British Supersport Championship (2011-2012).
In 2013, Caygill transitioned to car racing, entering the VW Racing Cup. His endurance racing debut in 2014 saw him secure second in class at the Dunlop 24 Hour Dubai race. Since then, he has participated in several championships, including the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup (2017), the British Touring Car Championship (2018), and the Porsche Carrera Cup GB (2021). In 2022, Caygill ventured into prototype racing in the European Le Mans Series with United Autosports.
For the 2024 season, Caygill is piloting the #95 McLaren GT3 EVO in the FIA World Endurance Championship, partnering with Marino Sato and Nico Pino. His career highlights also include racing in the Audi Sport TT Cup in 2015 and 2016 and entering the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in 2017 with Belgian Audi Club Team WRT.
