Josef Král

Josef Král, born on June 15, 1990, is a Czech professional racing driver who has made a name for himself in various motorsport categories. Král's career began in karting at the young age of eight, where he quickly found success, securing four Czech national championships between the ages of nine and twelve. He transitioned to single-seater racing in 2005, finishing third in the Czech Formula 1400 series.

Král's career progressed through Formula BMW, A1 Grand Prix, International Formula Master, and GP2 Series, showcasing his talent and determination. In 2007, competing in Formula BMW UK with Räikkönen Robertson Racing, he finished as runner-up to Marcus Ericsson, recording six wins and thirteen podiums. He also represented the Czech Republic in the A1 Grand Prix. In the GP2 Series, he secured podium finishes, demonstrating his capabilities in highly competitive fields.

More recently, Král was part of the Bohemia Energy Racing with Scuderia Praha team, which won the 2019 Creventic European 24 Hour Series in their Ferrari 488 GT3. Beyond racing, Král has also contributed to motorsport as Head of Motorsport for Praga Cars and as a Formula 1 commentator on Czech TV station Nova Sport 5. He also influenced virtual motorsport as an ambassador for the NISMO Playstation GT Academy for five years. His diverse experiences and achievements mark him as one of the Czech Republic's most successful racing drivers.
