Jamie Day

Jamie Day, a 19-year-old racing driver from the United Kingdom now residing in Dubai, has quickly established himself as a rising star in the world of GT racing. Day's career took off when he became the youngest-ever class winner and pole sitter in the British GT Championship in 2022. In 2024, Day had a strong season, competing in both the British GT Championship with Forsetti Motorsport and the GT4 European Series with Racing Spirit of Léman, securing three class wins in the British GT and two Silver class podiums in the GT4 European Series. His achievements led him to win the Aston Martin Racing (AMR) Driver Academy in 2025.

Day's success in 2024, driving the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, played a significant role in his selection as the AMR Driver Academy winner. This prestigious accolade grants him factory support from Aston Martin Racing for the 2025 season, helping him progress towards his goal of becoming a works driver. Day's 2025 program begins with the Dubai 24 Hours, where he will join the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa-winning Comtoyou Racing team in an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo. Further GT3 outings are expected throughout the 2025 season.

Aston Martin's Head of Endurance Motorsport, Adam Carter, has praised Day's talent and results since he began racing Vantage in 2022, noting that he has demonstrated all the qualities needed to be a successful GT racer. Day joins a list of accomplished AMR Driver Academy alumni, including Ross Gunn, Roman De Angelis, and Valentin Hasse Clot.
