Jakub Giermaziak

Jakub "Kuba" Giermaziak, born on July 9, 1990, in Gostyń, Poland, is a professional racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Giermaziak began his racing journey in karting and Formula Renault, progressing through ADAC GT Masters and Porsche Supercup, where he finished second to Earl Bamber in 2014. He made his Le Mans debut in 2015 and has since aimed for a long career in prototypes.

Giermaziak's career highlights include winning the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) SP9 class in 2022, along with four wins that season. He also achieved 5th place in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2022. His experience extends to the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in 2013 and 2016, and a 7th place (GTE-Am) in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2015. He participated in the USCC in 2014-2015 and Porsche Supercup from 2010-2015, where he secured 3rd place with two wins in 2011 and 5th place in 2013. He also competed in Formula Renault 2.0 from 2006-2009.

In the early 2010s, Giermaziak temporarily stepped away from racing in 2015 to focus on his family's paper packaging company, Netbox, eventually becoming its CEO. However, his passion for racing led him to return to the sport in 2021, focusing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Since his return, he has achieved significant success, including multiple wins in the NLS and a strong presence in GT3 racing. Currently, Jakub Giermaziak continues to compete in various GT series, showcasing his talent and experience on the track.
