Hugh Plumb

Hugh Plumb is an accomplished American racing driver with a career spanning over two decades in various endurance racing series. Born into a family of Olympians – his mother a dressage competitor and his father a record-holding seven-time Olympian in equestrian events – Plumb inherited a strong competitive spirit. Though his parents might have envisioned him in equestrian sports, Hugh found his passion on the racetrack.

Plumb's racing journey began with motorcycles, transitioning to cars and achieving early success with 25 wins in his first three seasons of Super Sport and Super Bike Championships. He honed his skills in series like the Skip Barber Racing Series, where he was the Rookie of the Year runner-up in 1997. In 2018, Hugh teamed up with Owen Trinkler to secure the GS championship title for Team TGM. He has consistently competed in prestigious series such as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, American Le Mans Series, and IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Notably, Hugh often shares driving duties with his brother, Matt Plumb. Together, they have formed a formidable duo, leveraging their close relationship and mutual understanding to achieve success on the track. The Plumb brothers' racing partnership has become a recognizable and respected presence in the sport.
