Garett Grist, born on May 9, 1995, is a Canadian racing driver hailing from Grimsby, Ontario. Grist's career began in karting, where he secured the Canadian National Karting Championship in 2009. Transitioning to formula cars, he entered the U.S. F2000 National Championship in 2013 with Andretti Autosport, marking his professional debut. He further progressed through the Road to Indy ladder, competing in the Pro Mazda Championship, also with Andretti Autosport, in 2014.
In 2015, Grist joined Juncos Racing in Pro Mazda, achieving a notable third-place finish in the championship with three wins. The following year, he moved to Indy Lights with Team Pelfrey mid-season. Shifting his focus to sports car racing, Grist has competed in various series, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He has secured wins in IMSA, ELMS (European Le Mans Series), and Asian Le Mans, making him one of the few drivers to achieve this feat.
