Dwight Merriman

Dwight Merriman, born on August 5, 1968, is an American racing driver with a diverse background, having also made his mark as an internet executive and entrepreneur in New York City's Silicon Alley. Best known for co-founding DoubleClick and serving as its CTO for a decade, Merriman's business ventures extend to the board of directors of MongoDB Inc., where he was a co-founder and chairman.

Merriman began his racing career relatively recently, in 2018, driving a Volkswagen Golf in the Pirelli World Challenge. In 2020, he debuted in the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona with Era Motorsport, finishing a commendable fourth in class and eleventh overall. The following year, he returned to Daytona with the same team, securing a class victory. He has participated in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Recent results include participation in the Michelin 24H Series Middle East Trophy - GT3 in January 2025, and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - LMP2 in October 2024 where he achieved a podium finish at Road Atlanta.
