Doyun Hwang

Doyun Hwang is a South Korean racing driver who has made a name for himself in various racing series across Asia. Born on May 27, 1984, Hwang's interest in motorsports began at a young age through watching Formula 1 on TV. In 2011, he successfully auditioned for ZAP SPEED and began training in formula cars. Hwang made his professional debut in 2012 and stepped up to the FIA-F4 Championship in 2015.

In 2017, Hwang's career gained momentum in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Championship. Participating as a spot entrant, he achieved five wins, including a victory in his debut race, attracting considerable attention. Later, he joined a prominent team in South Korea, solidifying his path as a professional driver. In August 2021, Hwang was announced as the first driver for the Nexen Tire N'Fera Racing Team, competing in the Super 6000 class of the Superrace Championship. More recently, in 2024, Hwang has been competing in the TCR Asia series and the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour with Hyundai N Team Z.Speed, even securing a win at the TCR Asia race in Buriram.
