Don Yount

Don Yount is an American racing driver with a career spanning over a decade in various sports car racing series. Born on August 16, 1968, Yount has demonstrated a passion for motorsports, participating in events across the United States and internationally. He founded Yount Motorsports, a race team based in Dallas, Texas.

Yount's racing record includes participation in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and the Trans Am Series. He has driven for teams such as NTE Sport, Walkenhorst Motorsport, and Proton Competition. He has piloted various makes and models, including Lamborghini Huracan GT3, Porsche 911 RSR, BMW M4 GT3, and Oreca FLM09. In June 2024, Yount made his Trans Am debut at Road America driving for Drissi Motorsports, securing a noteworthy fourth-place finish. He has also participated in prestigious races such as the Rolex 24 at Daytona, where he has achieved a podium finish, and the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, where he has previously driven to victory.
