Dennis Van De Laar

Dennis van de Laar, born on February 3, 1994, is a former Dutch racing driver. Van de Laar's career began in the Formido Swift Cup, where he secured a race win and finished third overall. He transitioned to the Formula Renault Northern European Cup in 2011 with Van Amersfoort Racing, achieving a best result of sixth place at Most and finishing seventh in the standings. The following year, he stepped up to the German Formula 3 series, remaining with Van Amersfoort, and earned a podium at Zandvoort, ultimately finishing ninth in the championship. During the same period, Van de Laar participated in the Formula 3 Euro Series, the Masters of Formula 3, and the Macau Grand Prix.

In 2013, Van de Laar joined Van Amersfoort Racing in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. He achieved six top-ten finishes and finished 20th overall. He also participated in the Masters of F3 and Macau races, finishing 11th and 18th, respectively. He started 2014 strongly with a win and three further podiums in the Florida Winter Series. He then returned to European F3 with Prema Powerteam. Despite improving to 14th in the standings, he was outpaced by his teammates. Following the 2014 season, Dennis van de Laar retired from racing. Since April 2021, he has been a shareholder in Returnista, a Dutch logistics company headquartered in Amsterdam.
