Dean Martin

Dean Martin is a respected name in the world of American motorsports, particularly known for his expertise with Ford Mustangs. Hailing from Westland, Michigan, Martin's journey in racing is rooted in a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics. Before dedicating himself fully to racing, he worked as a Chassis and Vehicle Dynamics engineer at Ford Motor Company's SVT (Special Vehicle Team). This engineering background has proven invaluable throughout his racing career.

Martin's racing career has seen him achieve success in various series, including the Pirelli World Challenge, Grand Am, and IMSA Continental Challenge. A significant part of his career was spent with Rehagen Racing, where he not only drove but also contributed his engineering knowledge to enhance the team's performance. In 2005, he joined the race team full-time to manage the racing business. His driving highlights include a win at Detroit in the Pirelli World Challenge in 2013.

Beyond driving, Dean Martin is also the owner of KohR Motorsports, a team established in 2003. KohR Motorsports focuses on professional-level road racing and also provides high-performance services and parts for Mustang street and race cars. KohR Motorsports partnered with Ford Performance and Multimatic to develop the new Ford Mustang GT4. The team has achieved success in various series, including a win at Sebring in 2017 in the GT4 class. Originally based in Westland, MI, KohR Motorsports moved to Daytona Beach, FL in 2022.
