David Vršecký is a Czech Republic racing driver with a diverse and successful career, primarily known for his achievements in truck racing. Discovered by Martin Koloc while racing on simulators, Vršecký began his racing journey in 1998. He quickly gained recognition, earning the title of newcomer of the year in 2002. His career highlights include securing back-to-back European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) driver titles in 2008 and 2009.
Vršecký's contributions extend beyond individual accolades, as he played a key role in securing four manufacturer titles for Buggyra Racing between 2007 and 2015. His expertise isn't limited to European circuits; he's a three-time Chinese Truck Racing champion and an Indian Truck Racing champion, showcasing his global impact in the sport. He also holds five truck speed records.
Beyond truck racing, Vršecký has experience in cross-country rallies, including participating in the Dakar Rally in 2011 with Marek Spacil. Currently, he serves as the chief designer for Buggyra Racing and also races for the Buggyra Zero Mileage GT team.
