David Stevens is an Australian racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Stevens began his racing career in 2000, spending roughly a decade competing regularly. He started in Formula Ford before progressing to the Porsche Carrera Cup and the Australian Nations Cup, racing a Porsche GT2-R against notable drivers such as Peter Brock, John Bowe, and Allan Simonsen. After a break from the sport, Stevens returned to racing after recovering from a skiing accident.
In 2018, Stevens participated in the Australian GT and Porsche Carrera Cup, securing three podium finishes across seven rounds. In 2019, he contested the full Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia season with Wall Racing, driving the #50 Brennan IT Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car and fighting for the TAG Heuer Pro-Am title. His teammates included David Wall and Liam Talbot.
Stevens has expressed a fondness for the Bathurst track and admiration for drivers like Kimi Räikkönen and Daniel Ricciardo. He also expressed a desire to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Ferrari.
