Daniel Burkett is a Canadian racing driver making waves in motorsports. Born on February 25, 1995, Burkett's passion for racing ignited early, leading him to begin karting at the age of 8. He transitioned to open-wheel racing in 2013, debuting in the U.S. F2000 Winterfest. He followed that up with a full USF2000 season, showcasing consistent improvement and securing a personal best of fifth place at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Burkett's career continued to gain momentum, marked by participation in the Atlantic Championship Series, where he impressively swept the opening round at Road Atlanta in 2014. He also competed in the Pro Mazda series. More recently, Burkett has been involved in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, driving a Porsche GT4 Cayman Clubsport for CJ Wilson Racing.
