Dale Wood

Dale Wood, born on June 9, 1983, is an accomplished Australian racing driver with a career spanning several racing series, including Supercars and Porsche Carrera Cup Australia. Wood's journey in motorsport began in the Victorian Formula Ford Championship in 2003. Progressing through the ranks, he secured the runner-up position in the series in 2004 and began competing at the national level. In 2006, his first and only full season in the Australian Formula Ford Championship, Wood achieved two wins and finished sixth in the points standings.

Wood transitioned to the Supercars arena, making his debut in the Dunlop Super2 Series in 2007. His talent was quickly recognized, earning him the Mike Kable Young Gun Award as the best first-year driver in Supercars. In 2013, he won the Dunlop V8 Supercar Series. Wood has also had multiple starts in the Bathurst 1000, marking his 17th appearance in 2025.

In 2025, Dale Wood joined Penrite Racing, teaming up with reigning Bathurst champion Richie Stanaway. Wood brings a wealth of experience, marking his presence in motorsport. He has also had a decorated career with 495 Porsche Carrera Cup races, including 29 wins, 79 podium finishes, and 11 pole positions since his debut in 2008.
