Charles Wicht

Charles Wicht is an American racing driver with experience in various racing series, including the IMSA Prototype Challenge and SCCA events. Wicht comes from a racing family; his father, Al Wicht, was a passionate SCCA racer for fifty years. Charles began his racing journey crewing for his father before attending SCCA Driver's School in 1988. He has experience in various series, including the SpeedWorld Challenge and the V8 StockCar Series, where he and his father achieved an "All Wicht" front row at Carolina Motorsports Park in 2007.

In recent years, Charles has been involved in the IMSA Prototype Challenge, teaming up with Performance Tech Motorsports. In 2018, he partnered with Leo Lamelas in the No. 7 Ligier JS P3, securing a seventh-place finish at Daytona International Speedway. Later that year, Charles Wicht Racing achieved a significant victory in the Prototype Challenge at Sebring, with drivers Leo Lamelas and Pato O'Ward taking the top step of the podium. According to FIA Driver Categorisation, Charles Wicht is a Bronze-rated driver.
