Benjamin Waddell

Benjamin Waddell is a 25-year-old American race car driver hailing from Denver, Colorado. A second-generation racer, Ben benefits from the extensive experience and guidance of his father, Barry Waddell, a successful road racer in both sports cars and open-wheel cars for over 25 years, who also serves as his coach.

Waddell has experience in both real-world racing and esports. In 2017, he competed in the F4 U.S. Championship, achieving two podium finishes and two top-five finishes in 20 starts with JDX Racing. He has also participated in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, driving the No. 47 Stoner Car Care Hyundai Veloster N TCR for Forty7 Motorsports. Waddell has also embraced the world of virtual racing, participating in the FR Americas iRacing series and IMSA sanctioned iRacing events. He even won the opening round of the FR Americas iRacing series at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Supported by his family and community, Waddell continues to seek opportunities to hone his racing skills in both sports car and open-wheel racing. He also uses simulator technology, such as iRacing.com, to familiarize himself with various race courses.
