Andre Castro

Andre Castro is a rising American racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. Born on January 6, 1999, the first-generation Colombian-American's journey began in karting at the age of seven. Despite limited resources and growing up in New York City, Castro's passion and dedication propelled him into the world of competitive racing. He honed his skills through karting and simulators, even learning basic driving techniques from a NASCAR video game. Castro's breakthrough came in 2016 in the Skip Barber Racing Series, where he achieved significant success with three wins, six poles, and ten podiums.

Castro's career continued through USF2000 and the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, where he gained valuable experience and achieved multiple podium finishes. In 2021, he was awarded the prestigious Team USA Scholarship. He made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2023 at the Chicago Street Race, driving for Jesse Iwuji Motorsports. Castro's unique blend of racing talent, a strong work ethic, and comfort in the spotlight sets him apart.

Beyond racing, Castro holds a BA in Economics with a Specialization in Business from the University of Chicago. He also participated in theater productions. Andre Castro continues to chase perfection and is definitely a driver to watch.
