Alexey Korneev, born on June 27, 1998, is a Russian racing driver with experience in various single-seater and GT racing categories. Korneev began his professional karting career in 2013, competing across Europe, predominantly in Germany. In 2015, he transitioned to single-seaters, joining the SMP F4 Championship where he secured two wins and finished fifth overall. The same year, he also participated in French F4, earning a win and finishing 11th in the championship standings.
Korneev's career progressed into Formula Renault 2.0. He made guest appearances in the Eurocup and Alps championships with JD Motorsport in 2015. In 2016, he joined JD Motorsport full-time, finishing 15th in the Eurocup and 19th in the NEC standings. The following year, he switched to Fortec Motorsports but did not improve his standing. In 2018, Korneev participated in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup with SMP Racing by AKKA ASP, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3.
Throughout his career, Korneev has demonstrated his versatility by competing in a range of racing series, including Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, SMP F4 Championship, and French F4 Championship.
