Sam Brabham

Sam Brabham, born August 18, 1994, is an Australian racing driver carrying on a significant family legacy. As the son of Le Mans winner David Brabham and grandson of three-time Formula One World Champion Sir Jack Brabham, Sam is a third-generation racer with motorsport in his blood. He is also the nephew of Geoff and Gary Brabham, and cousin to Matthew Brabham, further solidifying the family's prominent place in racing history.

Brabham began his racing career relatively late, at age 16, starting in karts in 2011. He quickly progressed to the British Formula Ford Championship in 2013, where he finished fourth overall and second in the scholarship class. He gained experience in 'wings & slicks' formula cars in the MRF Formula 2000 Challenge, finishing ninth in the series. After a break, Brabham returned to racing in the 2018 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain Pro Am class, finishing tenth, and participated as a guest driver in 2019.

More recently, Brabham has focused on GT racing, showcasing his talents in GT4 and GT3 categories both in Australia and internationally. In 2024, he joined Love Racing in the Monochrome GT4 Australia Series, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT4 and partnering with young Bailey Love. Brabham aims to leverage his experience to help develop the team and achieve strong results. His career has included stints in Formula Ford, Carrera Cup, and development work for Honda's IndyCar project, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the sport. He currently has 3 podium finishes and 8 wins out of 80 races started.
