The Porsche RSKlasse, also known as the Porsche RS Cup, is the premier and fastest racing class within the Porsche Club Racing series in the Netherlands. This class operates on an open-regulation basis, meaning there are minimal technical restrictions placed on the participating Porsche vehicles, with safety requirements being the primary concern. This 'sky is the limit' approach allows for a diverse and highly competitive field, attracting some of the most powerful and track-focused Porsche models, such as the GT3. The 'RS' designation is a nod to 'rennsport', the German term for 'racing sport'（賽車運動）, a designation first officially used by Porsche on the 718 RSK in 1957. The Porsche Club Racing series, established in 1999, provides a platform for Porsche enthusiasts and amateur drivers to compete on various circuits, primarily based at Circuit Zandvoort but also including tracks like TT-Circuit Assen and the iconic Spa-Francorchamps. The club fosters a strong sense of community and sportsmanship among its members, welcoming drivers with varying levels of experience. While it is an amateur championship, participants are required to hold a valid F.I.A. racing license to compete.
