Tristan Herbert

Tristan Herbert is an American racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. He began his racing career in 2008 with the SCCA, quickly progressing and demonstrating his talent. Herbert's early successes include 22 wins, three track records, and an ITB championship in the Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Series. In 2009, supported by VWgroup of America and BRIMTEK Motorsports, he made his professional debut in the Pirelli World Challenge, securing a pole position, track record, and victory in his very first race at the Streets of St. Petersburg in a VW GTI. Continuing with VW support in 2011, he achieved one win and three podium finishes at Sonoma, Laguna Seca, and Utah, driving a VW Jetta, ultimately earning the Pirelli World Challenge Rookie of the Year award.

After stepping back from full-time professional racing in 2013, Herbert transitioned to motorsport management, notably with Lamborghini of America, where he developed and launched the Super Trofeo series in the U.S. More recently, he served as the Motorsports Manager for Audi Sport customer racing North America for several years, overseeing a large customer base across various racing platforms including IMSA and SRO's GT3, GT4, TCR, and GT2 categories. In 2020, Herbert returned to the driver's seat in the TC America series, impressively claiming a victory at Indianapolis in an Audi RS 3 LMS DSG. He has also participated in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, partnering with experienced drivers such as Britt Casey Jr.

Herbert's career reflects a blend of on-track success and significant contributions to motorsport management, making him a respected figure in the American racing scene.
