Tim Sandtler is a German racing driver born on February 20, 1987, in Bochum. Sandtler began his motorsport career at the age of 10 in karting. He has since competed in several notable series, including the International Formula Master, Formula BMW ADAC, Formula Three Euroseries, and the German Formula Three Championship.
Sandtler's career includes participation in various Formula 3 championships. In 2007, he drove for Jo Zeller Racing in the Formula 3 Euro Series. The following year, 2008, saw him competing in the International Formula Master series with Team I.S.R. He has 6 wins, 3 pole positions and 20 podiums out of 137 races started.
More recently, Sandtler has been active in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), also known as the Nürburgring Endurance Series. In 2024, he achieved first place in the SP10 class driving a Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo for Toyo Tires with Ring Racing. His FIA Driver Categorisation is Silver.
