Thijmen Nabuurs

Thijmen Nabuurs is a Dutch racing driver making a name for himself in the GT racing scene. Born in the Netherlands, Nabuurs started his racing career relatively late, beginning with Dutch national Ford Fiesta events in late 2018. Prior to racing, he focused on soccer, with karting as a hobby. However, he quickly transitioned to karting, becoming a Dutch national karting champion. His success in karting paved the way for a move to car racing, narrowly missing out on the Supercar Challenge title in the Supersport Division while driving a Seat Leon TCR.

Nabuurs made the leap to international GT racing in the GT4 European Series. In 2021, he competed with Jop Rappange in the V8 Racing Camaro GT4.R, achieving six podium finishes and finishing fourth in the Silver Cup standings. He was also part of the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy in 2022, driving a Racing One Aston Martin Vantage in the GT4 European Series. According to 51GT3, Nabuurs is an FIA Silver-rated driver.

Nabuurs sees GT racing, with its longer distance races and teamwork, as the best path for his career.
