Scott Dixon

Scott Dixon, born on July 22, 1980, is a New Zealand racing driver celebrated as one of the most accomplished racers in IndyCar Series history. Piloting the No. 9 Chip Ganassi Racing Dallara DW12-Honda, Dixon has amassed an impressive record, securing six IndyCar Series championships in 2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2020. His achievements also include a memorable victory in the 2008 Indianapolis 500, solidifying his status as a versatile and formidable competitor. As of 2024, Dixon holds the distinction of the longest-tenured driver in Chip Ganassi Racing's history, marking his 23rd season with the team.

Dixon's career is decorated with numerous wins and records. He boasts 58 career wins in American open-wheel car racing, placing him second only to A.J. Foyt in all-time series history. His six championships are also second-most, again trailing only Foyt. Nicknamed "The Iceman" for his calm and collected demeanor on and off the track, Dixon holds the record for the most consecutive starts in IndyCar, with a streak dating back to 2004.
