Salvador De Alba

Salvador de Alba Jr., born on December 11, 1999, is a Mexican racing driver making waves in the American open-wheel racing scene. Currently competing full-time in Indy NXT with Andretti Global, De Alba has quickly established himself as a rising talent. His journey began in 2016 in the Super Copa Telcel series, where he earned Rookie of the Year honors. He further honed his skills in the NASCAR Peak Mexico Series and Tractocamiones Freightliner series, securing the NASCAR Peak Mexico championship in both 2021 and 2023. Additionally, he is a four-time Gran Turismo (SuperCopa) Mexico champion, winning in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

De Alba's transition to Indy NXT in 2024 marked a significant step in his career. Initially joining Andretti Cape INDY NXT under a two-year agreement, he demonstrated consistent improvement throughout his rookie season. By October 2024, he earned a promotion to Andretti Global for the 2025 season, a testament to his strong performance and potential. In his first INDY NXT season, he achieved five top-five finishes and two podiums, finishing third at Iowa Speedway and the Milwaukee Mile.
