Piotr Bednarek

Piotr Bednarek is a Polish racing driver and team principal. While details of his early racing career are still emerging, he has a history in Polish motorsport, with experience dating back to the early 1990s. Information indicates he secured the title of Polish Champion WSWP in 1992 and 1993. Transitioning to a BMW E30 318is in 1994, he achieved runner-up in flat racing and 6th overall in WSWP. Further modifications to his BMW led to numerous flat and hill climb victories, consistently placing within the top three in the Polish Hill Climb Championships until 1999. In 2005, he raced an Alfa Romeo GTA, finishing 2nd in class and 6th overall in the Grand Prix of Poland.

More recently, Bednarek has been involved in GT racing. In 2008, he drove a Ferrari F430 GT3, followed by several years in an Audi R8 with Premium Motorsport Poland, achieving consistent top-ten finishes in the Polish GT3 Championship in 2011. He also participated in the development of a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 for racing in 2012.

Currently, Piotr Bednarek is the team principal of Good Speed Racing Team, a Polish team based in Poznań. Founded in 2020, the team has competed in series such as the CEZ ESET and the GT Winter Series. In 2024, Good Speed Racing Team entered the International GT Open with a Mercedes AMG GT3, with Bednarek leading the team's efforts. The team has achieved successes including a Winter Series GT win in 2024, 3rd in CEZ 2022, and 4th in Austrian Tourenwagen 2020.
