Paolo Brajnik

Paolo Brajnik is an Italian racing driver with a long and varied motorsport career. While he has often raced under a Serbian license, Brajnik's roots are firmly Italian. His career spans several forms of racing, dating back to the 2000s. Before transitioning to single-seater racing, he found success in superbikes, securing the Italian Supertwin title in 2012 and the European SBK title in 2014.

Brajnik's move to formula racing was motivated by a desire to continue his passion for motorsport with fewer physical risks, humorously noting that "after 18 broken bones, four-wheelers would be more reasonable." He quickly became a prominent figure in Central European single-seater racing, winning the FIA CEZ Trophy in 2016 and the F2000 Italian Trophy in 2022. He achieved these victories driving a Dallara 320, which he also campaigned in the Austrian F3 Cup.

In 2023, Brajnik joined the Euroformula Open grid with NV Racing, driving a Dallara 320 Spiess. He expressed excitement about the challenge, acknowledging the competitiveness of the younger drivers but emphasizing the fun that drives him. Before his racing career, Brajnik lived an equally adventurous life as an acrobatic plane pilot, showcasing his lifelong passion for motorsports.
