Nicolas Minassian, born on February 28, 1973, is a French professional racing driver of Armenian descent. Minassian's career highlights include finishing second in the 1993 Formula Renault Eurocup and as runner-up in the French Formula Three Championship in 1995. He further honed his skills in the British Formula Three series, securing fourth place in 1996 and second in 1997.
Minassian progressed to Formula 3000, where he achieved success with Kid Jensen Racing, including a win at Silverstone. In 2000, he finished second in the championship with Super Nova Racing. After being unable to find a drive in Formula One, he ventured into CART in 2001 with Target Chip Ganassi Racing and participated in the Indianapolis 500. In 2002, Minassian won the ASCAR Racing Series before returning to endurance racing, participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for teams like Creation Autosportif and Pescarolo Sport.
In 2007, Minassian became a factory driver for Peugeot, driving the 908 HDi FAP diesel Le Mans prototype in the European Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2019, Minassian co-founded Bullet Sports Management, representing drivers in various racing series.
