Misha Goikhberg

Mikhail "Misha" Goikhberg, born on November 24, 1986, is a Russian-born Canadian race car driver. He began his racing journey in 2003 in Russia before moving to Canada and honing his skills in karting and attending the Skip Barber Racing School in 2008. His open-wheel career started in 2009, competing in Formula Ford, USF2000, and the Star Mazda Championship, achieving multiple wins.

In 2012, Goikhberg transitioned to sports car racing, joining the IMSA Prototype Lites Championship. He secured two wins and finished second overall in his debut year, followed by a third-place finish in 2013. In 2014, he clinched the championship title with an impressive nine wins and six pole positions. Progressing to the Tudor United SportsCar Championship in 2015, he earned three podiums and finished fourth overall as a rookie. The following year, he won the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the Long Beach Grand Prix in the Prototype Challenge category.

Goikhberg continued to compete in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, securing a victory at the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen in 2018. In 2023, with teammates Loris Spinelli and Patrick Liddy, he won the Petit Le Mans 10-hour endurance race with Forte Racing. Goikhberg and Spinelli have consistently achieved top-five finishes in the IMSA WeatherTech GTD Championship, solidifying their presence in the sport.
