Michael Crees

Michael Crees, born on September 7, 1983, is a British racing driver hailing from Broadstairs, Kent. He is best known for his participation in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). Crees began his professional racing career relatively late, but quickly made a name for himself. In 2017, he won the Ginetta GRDC+ title in his debut season. The following year, he secured the 'Am' class crown in the 2018 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, achieving 11 victories and eight podium finishes.

Crees stepped up to the BTCC in 2019 with Team HARD, marking a significant milestone in his career. He scored points in his debut race at Brands Hatch and later achieved a top-ten finish at Silverstone. In 2020, driving a Honda Civic Type R for BTC Racing, Crees matched his best result of ninth place and won the Jack Sears Trophy. He then participated in the Porsche Supercup in 2021, racing at Monaco. In 2022, he returned to BTCC with CarStore Power Maxed Racing and in 2023 he rejoined Team HARD.

Throughout his BTCC career, Crees has driven for several teams, including Team HARD, BTC Racing, and Power Maxed Racing. Off the track, he has a plumbing business and enjoys spending time with his family. His racing journey reflects his passion for motorsport and determination to succeed at the highest levels of British racing.
