Max Van der snel

Max van der Snel is a rising talent in the world of Dutch motorsport. Born and raised in the Netherlands, his passion for racing ignited at a young age, leading him to begin karting at the age of seven. After winning the Dobla Kart Challenge in 2012, he actively participated in the Dutch National Karting Championship. After a break, he returned to racing at 17 in the Dutch Westfield Cup, earning Rookie of the Year in 2021.

Van der Snel made his debut in car racing in 2021 in the Westfield Cup, showcasing his adaptability and skill by clinching the "Rookie of the Year" title in his first year. He followed that up with a strong performance in 2022, finishing as Vice-Champion in the same series. In 2023, he stepped up to the Prototype Cup Germany, driving an LMP3 car and achieving a significant milestone by winning a race at the TT Circuit Assen alongside his father. He ended his debut year in LMP3 successfully by becoming the Junior Champion of 2023!

Currently, Van der Snel is balancing his racing career with his studies in Motorsport Engineering at The National Motorsport Academy, showcasing his dedication to understanding the technical aspects of racing. In 2024, he competed in the Michelin Le Mans Cup with his father, Mark van der Snel, under the banner of their own team, More Motorsport. The duo achieved a podium finish at Spa-Francorchamps. With a strong foundation in karting and single-seater racing, Max van der Snel is poised to make a significant impact on the sport, fueled by his passion, skill, and determination to reach the pinnacle of motorsport.
