Julien Gilbert is a French racing driver with experience in various motorsport categories. Born on July 19, 1984, Gilbert has participated in GT racing, one-make series, and Formula racing. He has driven for teams such as JMB Racing, Force One Racing, and Tech 1 Racing.
Gilbert's career includes participation in the FIA GT Championship, the Le Mans Series, and the Spanish Seat Leon Supercopa. In 2008, he competed in the Le Mans Series GT2 class with JMB Racing, driving a Ferrari F430 GT2. Earlier in his career, he participated in the FIA GT Championship with Force One Racing in a Chrysler Viper GTS-R. He also has experience in Formula Renault, competing in both the Eurocup and French series in 2001.
Beyond racing, Gilbert has also contributed to the development of racing cars, including GP2, GP3, and Ligier LMP3 vehicles, as well as the Mygale F4 car used in the Winfield Volant racing school. He has also worked as an instructor, including at the Magny-Cours Racing School, where he coached drivers during a Formula 3 test session. In 2024, Gilbert co-piloted the Signatech Alpine A110 GT4 EVO to a class win in the Ultimate Cup Series.
