Jagger Jones, born on July 29, 2002, is an American professional racing driver carving his own path while honoring his family's storied legacy. As the grandson of the legendary 1963 Indy 500 winner Parnelli Jones, and the son of former NASCAR, CART, and sports car driver P.J. Jones, racing is deeply embedded in his DNA.

Jones began his racing journey in go-karts at the young age of six, quickly demonstrating a natural talent that led to national karting championships. Transitioning to late models, he secured a win in his debut race for JR Motorsports at Myrtle Beach Speedway in 2018. That same year, he also clinched the NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Championship at Kern County Raceway Park with five victories. He was also awarded the NASCAR Rising Star of the Year Award after his strong rookie season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2019.

In 2022, Jones shifted his focus to open-wheel racing, joining the U.S. F2000 National Championship with Cape Motorsports. He made an immediate impact, earning Rookie of the Year honors with one win and four podiums. He continued his ascent in 2023, competing in Indy NXT, also with Cape Motorsports, achieving a season-best second-place finish in Detroit. He later joined HMD Motorsports for a race at Mid-Ohio in 2024. He has also found success in sports car racing, winning the IMSA VP Sports Car Challenge Team Championship in 2024 and accumulating eight victories in ten starts. A graduate of High Point University with a degree in business and finance, Jones balances his racing career with academic pursuits. He aims to compete at the highest levels of motorsports and win the Indy 500.
