Guido Dumarey

Guido Dumarey, born in Oostende, Belgium, in 1959, is a multifaceted figure known for his entrepreneurial success and passion for motorsports. While primarily recognized as the founder and president of the Dumarey Group, a mechanical engineer by training, Dumarey's connection to racing runs deep. He began his professional journey at Michelin before transitioning to entrepreneurship in 1983.

Beyond his business endeavors, Dumarey actively participates in racing events through his company, GDM Motors, where he restores, purchases, and sells classic (racing) cars. His racing statistics show that he has started in 36 races with 2 wins and 10 podium finishes. He has also achieved 1 pole position. In 2024, he participated in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, showcasing his commitment to the sport. He currently competes in the VLN – Langstrecken Meisterschaft Nurburgring, driving for Prosport-Performance GmbH, and has 8 starts in that series.
