George Gamble

George Gamble, born on July 17, 1996, in Nottingham, England, is a British racing driver currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with Toyota Gazoo Racing UK. Gamble's journey in motorsport began in karting, where he competed against future Formula 1, Formula E, and World Endurance Championship stars from 2007 to 2010. He transitioned to car racing in the 2010 Ginetta Junior Winter Series and secured third place in the main Ginetta Junior Championship in 2011, marking a promising start to his career.

Gamble continued to hone his skills in various Ginetta series, including the GT5 Challenge and GT4 Supercup, before making a mark in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain. He achieved consistent results, finishing sixth in 2018 and third in 2019. In 2022, Gamble made his highly anticipated BTCC debut with Car Gods with Ciceley Motorsport, driving a BMW 330e M Sport. His rookie season was highlighted by a breakthrough win at Knockhill Racing Circuit, demonstrating his potential in the competitive touring car series. He ended the season in 13th overall and as runner-up in the Jack Sears Trophy.

In 2023, Gamble joined Toyota Gazoo Racing UK, partnering with experienced drivers Rory Butcher and Ricky Collard. While the season presented its challenges, Gamble secured a season-best finish of eighth place at both Brands Hatch Indy and Knockhill, ultimately finishing 21st in the Drivers' Championship. He continues to build his experience and refine his skills in the BTCC, aiming for consistent results and further race victories with Toyota Gazoo Racing UK.
