Darren Law

Darren Law, born on April 4, 1968, is a Canadian-born American racing driver with a career spanning over two decades. Law's journey in motorsports began at the age of 10 in go-karts, fueled by his father's involvement in Mark Donohue's Penske Racing cars. By 14, he had already clinched the International Kart Federation (IKF) national championship. Progressing through various amateur classes on the West Coast, he honed his skills before venturing into professional racing.

Law's professional career highlights include racing in the North American Touring Car Championship, Grand-Am Cup, and Motorola Cup, securing 11 race wins across these series. In 2001, he was crowned the Grand American Road Racing Association's GT class champion. He also drove for top-tier teams like Flying Lizard Motorsports and Brumos Porsche, achieving significant success in sports car racing. A defining moment came in 2009 when he secured an overall win at the 24 Hours of Daytona driving the Brumos Porsche Daytona Prototype. He has three participations at Le Mans.

Beyond driving, Law has been actively involved in driver training, notably as Chief Instructor at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. In 2014, he transitioned from full-time driving to team ownership, currently managing Flying Lizard Motorsports, based in Sonoma, California, where he oversees racing programs and business operations. Throughout his career, Darren Law has demonstrated versatility and a commitment to motorsports, both on and off the track.
