Sir Christopher Andrew Hoy, born on March 23, 1976, is a Scottish former track cyclist and racing driver who represented Great Britain at the Olympic and World Championships and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games. Before retiring from cycling in 2013, Hoy achieved remarkable success in track cycling, amassing eleven world championships and six Olympic gold medals. He is the first British athlete to win three golds at the same Games in over 100 years.
After retiring from cycling, Hoy transitioned to motor racing. In 2015, he competed in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in the LMP3 class, driving for Team LNT alongside Charlie Robertson. They won the LMP3 championship in their inaugural season, securing victories at Silverstone, Red Bull Ring, Le Castellet, and Estoril. In 2016, Hoy moved to LMP2 with Algarve Pro Racing and competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing 12th in the LMP2 class.
