Casey James Mears, born March 12, 1978, is a versatile American racing driver with a career spanning IndyCar, NASCAR, off-road racing, and even Stadium Super Trucks. As a member of the renowned Mears racing family – nephew of four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Rick Mears and son of IndyCar and off-road veteran Roger Mears – racing is in his blood. Mears' NASCAR Cup Series career includes 489 starts over 15 seasons. He also earned four Cup Series Pole Awards, including the 2004 Brickyard 400, where he set a track record. Beyond NASCAR, Mears co-won the 2006 Rolex 24 at Daytona, becoming the first full-time NASCAR driver to achieve an overall victory in the prestigious event.
