Berkay Besler

Berkay Besler, born on February 19, 1999, is a Turkish racing driver making waves on the international motorsport scene. Hailing from İnegöl, Bursa, Turkey, Besler began his racing journey in karting at a young age, nurtured by his father, Mehmet Besler, a former Turkish rally champion. He quickly demonstrated his talent, securing five Turkish championship titles and even a title in Belgium.

Transitioning to car racing, Besler competed in various series, including the Renault Clio Cup Italia and the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland. He gained prominence in the Porsche scene after a strong showing in the Porsche Super Sports Cup. A significant milestone came in 2019 when he clinched his first Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East race victory at the Bahrain International Circuit. Since 2021, he has been a part of Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport, showcasing his skills in the GT4 European Series driving a BMW M4 GT4, often alongside teammate Cem Bölükbaşı. In 2022, he won the Prototype Cup Germany.

In addition to his on-track achievements, Besler was selected for the BMW M Racing Academy's "Class of 2025," a unique development program designed to elevate customer racing talent. He also serves as a driver coach. With a string of successes and a clear dedication to his craft, Berkay Besler is steadily carving out a name for himself in the competitive world of motorsports.
