Alessio Lorandi

Alessio Lorandi, born on September 8, 1998, is an Italian former racing driver with a career spanning karting and various open-wheel series. Lorandi's journey in motorsport began in karting in 2007, achieving notable success by winning the Karting Federation Junior championship in 2013. He continued karting until 2014 before transitioning to single-seater racing.

In 2015, Lorandi debuted in the European Formula 3 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing. The following year, he switched to Carlin, securing his first victory in the third race at Pau. He entered the GP3 Series at the final two rounds of the 2016 season with Jenzer Motorsport and continued with the team full-time in 2017, where he demonstrated his talent with a win at Jerez.

Lorandi's career progressed to Formula 2 in July 2018, when he was called up to replace Santino Ferrucci at Trident. Initially a temporary replacement, Lorandi's performance led to him finishing the season with the team. After Formula 2, Lorandi made a move into GT racing, participating in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with Mercedes in 2020.
