Takeshi Kimura

Takeshi Kimura, born on October 22, 1970, in Niigataken, Japan, is a Bronze-ranked professional racing driver known for his participation in various GT series, particularly with his own team, CarGuy Racing. Kimura's racing career gained prominence in the late 2010s, and he has since become a fixture in both Asian and European racing circuits.

CarGuy Racing, established in 2015, has competed in series such as Super GT, Asian Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series (ELMS), and the FIA World Endurance Championship. Kimura himself has driven in these series, often fielding Ferrari GT cars. Notably, in the Asian Le Mans Series, CarGuy Racing achieved significant success, dominating the GT class in 2018. In 2025, CarGuy Racing partnered with MKS Racing to enter the Super GT series. While Kimura won't be driving due to his commitments in the European Le Mans Series with Kessel Racing, he will be managing the CarGuy MKS Racing team.
