Konsta Lappalainen, born on August 11, 2001, is a Finnish racing driver carving his path in the world of motorsports. Hailing from Espoo, Finland, Konsta's journey began in karting in 2012, where he honed his skills and eventually clinched the Finnish Karting Championship in the OK class in 2016. Transitioning to single-seater racing, he gained experience in the F4 Spanish Championship and SMP F4 Championship, ultimately securing the SMP F4 Championship title in 2018 with an impressive seven wins and 15 podiums.

Lappalainen's career progressed into the Formula Regional European Championship, where he demonstrated his potential with a podium finish at the Red Bull Ring in 2019. He continued in the series in 2020, achieving two podiums and finishing sixth in the championship standings. Currently, Konsta competes in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup for Emil Frey Racing, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3. In 2024, he is partnered with British driver Ben Green, the 2021 DTM Champion.
