Christopher Zanella, born on October 21, 1989, is a Swiss former racing driver. Zanella's career began in 2007 in Formula Renault 2.0 Switzerland, where he quickly demonstrated his talent, securing the championship title in 2008. This early success propelled him into more competitive series, including the Formula Three Euroseries and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0.
In 2011, Zanella stepped up to the FIA Formula Two Championship, making an immediate impact by leading the championship after the first four races, highlighted by a double victory at Magny-Cours. He continued in Formula Two in 2012, adding two more wins to his name at the Nürburgring and Monza, with the latter being the final race in the history of Formula Two. Following the disbandment of FIA Formula Two at the end of 2012, Zanella tested with Formula Renault 3.5 teams and joined ISR Racing in 2013. During his debut at Monza, he finished third and later finished eighth in Race 2.
