Charl Arangies is a prominent South African racing driver with a diverse and successful career in motorsport. Born on May 1, 1986, Arangies has made a name for himself in various racing series, showcasing his versatility and skill behind the wheel.

Arangies has competed in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with Stradale Motorsport, driving cars such as the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and Lamborghini Huracan GT3. He has also achieved significant success in local South African series, including the G+H Transport Extreme Supercars championship, where he secured titles in both the overall and GT3 categories. In 2018, Arangies set a new overall lap record at Zwartkops Raceway in his Aston Martin Vantage GT3, marking the first official sub-minute lap time in a race car at the circuit.
