Moritz Kranz

Moritz Kranz is a German racing driver born on July 7, 1987, in Linz am Rhein. His motorsport journey began early, at the age of 10, with karting. Since then, racing has become an integral part of his life. Kranz has experience racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, starting with a BMW E30 325i and progressing to GT3 and LMP3 cars, participating in both national and international races, including prestigious events like the Daytona 24h and Nürburgring 24h.

Kranz's career highlights include the IMSA LMP3 Vice Championship and NLS GT3 Vice Championship in 2021, along with multiple wins in both series. In 2020, he secured 3rd place in the NLS Cayman Cup GT4 and 9th in LMP3 in the Michelin Le Mans Cup. He also claimed the Cayman Cup Champion title in the 24H Series Europe in 2020. Earlier achievements include being a 24 Hours Nürburgring class winner in 2019 (SP7) and 2018 (Cup 3), and VLN Cup 2 and Cup 3 Champion in 2019. He has also participated in the Pirelli World Challenge and IMSA. In 2021, he competed with J2 Racing in the Mercedes AMG GT3 in the NLS, moving up to the SP9 class.
